Mead Medical strongly believes that the relationship between a patient and his or her health provider is based on a two-way understanding, acknowledging that we both have a responsibility to each other. We endeavour to provide the highest possible health care to our patients.

Appointments: We endeavour to work to an appointment system. We will attempt to fit patients in with the doctor of their choice in a suitable time frame; however, some of our doctors have a long waiting list and you will be offered an alternative doctor if waiting time is too long.

Waiting times: We attempt to keep the waiting time to the minimum; however, some times our doctors are involved in emergencies or obstetric deliveries which prolong the waiting time.

Single issue consults: On each day we have a doctor nominated to see emergencies.  These appointments are designed for one problem only and are allocated a shorter time for consult.

Patients who are particularly ill should notify staff on arrival, so that they can be made as comfortable as possible until seen by the doctor.

We are a zero tolerance practice. We do not tolerate abuse of any kind. Patients who do not respect this policy will no longer be seen by our practice, there are NO exceptions.
