RACGP General Practice of the Year 2013/14 (National)

Mead Medical is very pleased and honoured to have been awarded the prestigious national award of RACGP General Practice of the Year 2013/14 (National)

Mead Medical has been servicing the people of the Kalamunda Shire for over 50 years. We remain an independent practice that seeks to provide the highest possible care to our patients.

We currently provide a range of services that extend beyond general practice. We continue to provide anaesthetic, obstetric, surgical, skin cancer and main many more services to our patients. We believe strongly in the continuation of procedural general practice.

We also believe in the ongoing education of medical students and general practitioners. We have a strong connection with both universities in Western Australia and have a number of general practice registrars who undertake training at Mead Medical. Our excellence in teaching has been recognized previously, we were the recipients of the 2005 award for excellence in teaching.

Mead medical will now be open from 8.00am to 8pm Monday to Thursday at the Kalamunda Medical Centre.

After 6.00pm, there is a $10.00 payment on your usual gap fee, irrespective of whether a concession card is held.
This service is designed for those that work during the day or for emergencies.

We currently have practices at two locations:

  1. Kalamunda
37 Elizabeth St, Kalamunda (next to Kalamunda Hospital). Phone 9293 4455
  2. Forrestfield
    11 Salix Way, Forrestfield. Phone 9453 6566
