Farewell to Dr. Rebecca Hunt-Davies: Celebrating 15 Years of Dedication

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Dr. Rebecca Hunt-Davies from Mead Medical. After 15 incredible years of service, leadership and dedication, Dr. Hunt-Davies will be relocating to Adelaide to support her husband’s new professional opportunity.

Throughout her tenure at Mead Medical, Dr. Hunt-Davies has been an integral part of our team. Starting as a talented and compassionate clinician, she quickly became a cornerstone of our practice. Her commitment to patient care and the community has been unwavering, earning her the respect and admiration of colleagues and patients alike.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hunt-Davies has been a guiding force in our organisational leadership. Serving as a director and most recently as the chair of the board, she has played a pivotal role in shaping Mead Medical’s vision and strategy. Her leadership has helped us grow and thrive, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional care to our community.

Dr. Hunt-Davies has also been instrumental in training the next generation of general practitioners. As a dedicated supervisor to GP registrars, she has shared her vast knowledge and expertise, fostering the development of aspiring GPs. Her mentorship has not only shaped the careers of many but has also ensured that the values of excellence, compassion and community focus continue to be passed on through the future leaders of primary care.

Dr. Hunt-Davies’ relocation marks the end of an era, but her impact on Mead Medical will be felt for years to come. We are incredibly grateful for her years of service and the countless contributions she has made to our practice and the lives of our patients.
