Qualifications & Experience

Diploma of Practice Management, Diploma Human Resources, BSBAUD402 & BSBAUD503 Quality auditing Certified Practice Manager (AAPM) Current, Accredited auditor of RACGP Standards by JAS/ANZ, Certificate 4 in health administration. 

An experienced Practice Manager working in the primary health care industry for over 30 years, 25 of which were in Victoria and the last 10 years back here in WA.   I have had a variety of roles starting as Medical receptionist to Practice Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager and worked with practices from small business to corporate multi sites, including working for Divisions of General Practice and Medicare locals giving me a very broad understanding of the health sector.

I have been a RACGP accreditation surveyor for over 25 years and have watched both the industry and general practice change significantly over this time, this has given me a strong insight as to what is required of the standards to be an effective, efficient and quality general practice in a rapidly changing environment.

I am very passionate about organisation culture and believe it is the secret to a harmonious workplace which can lead you to becoming an employer of choice, I always aim to lead by example and expect my staff to demonstrate the same behavior’s.

  • High level of accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
  • Xero and MYOB expertise
  • High level of expertise with financial analysis and modelling specializing in General Practice
  • Strong computer and technology knowledge including full Microsoft 365 suite
  • Clinical software Best Practice expertise
  • Over 5 years’ experience working with General Practitioners in Primary Care
  • 32 years accounting and industry experience
