Dr Celia Worth

Dr Celia Worth is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor who is a dual qualified GP Obstetrician. She holds a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland. Her diverse academic background reflects her curiosity, adaptability, and strong foundation in both science and healthcare.

After graduating from medical school in 2008, Dr Worth discovered a deep passion for women’s health, leading her to undertake five years of RANZCOG specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Sydney. Her training equipped her with extensive experience in antenatal and postnatal care, women’s reproductive health, labour management, and gynaecological assessments.

In 2017, Dr Worth moved to Perth—her husband’s hometown—where she embraced a new chapter focused on work–life balance and motherhood. As a mother of three young children, she brings genuine empathy and lived experience to her clinical practice.

Since moving to Western Australia, Dr Worth has built a rich and varied career in women’s health, including roles as:

• Career Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Joondalup Hospital
• GP Obstetrician at Osborne Park Hospital and previously Bentley Hospital
• GP Obstetrician/specialist women’s health GP at Western Family Practice/Western Obstetrics, Balcatta
• Specialist women’s health GP at Simply Women, Duncraig   
• SPEAR GP at SJOG Midland Emergency Department 

Dr Worth is passionate about all aspects of women’s health, with a deep belief in equitable access to evidence-based care, choice, and supportive services. She is committed to providing women with holistic, empathetic care at every stage of life – from adolescence, contraception, and reproductive planning through pregnancy, postpartum/lactation, and menopause. She also has interest in weight loss management, mental health, chronic pain syndromes including endometriosis, neonates/paediatrics, chronic disease and acute presentations.
