About Mead Medical
Mead Medical Group is a well established group of practices located in the Hills area, approximately 30 minutes drive from the Perth CBD.
Mead Medical Kalamunda has a purpose built medical centre (completed in 2013), located adjacent to Kalamunda District Community Hospital. The medical centre provides state of the art facilities for our patients. As well as the traditional consulting rooms, we have incorporated a large nursing bay and 3 designated procedure rooms.
Mead Medical Maida Vale opened in August 2025 replacing the former Forrestfield clinic which had been part of the Mead Medical family since 1974. The clinic is a mixed billing practice.
Located on Maida Vale Road, next to IGA, the medical centre was purposely designed to suit Mead Medical with a comfortable waiting area and designated kids area, 7 consulting rooms and a stand alone procedure room with adjoining consulting room. The treatment room is at the centre of the clinic space providing quick and convenient access to all of the clinical team.

Company Overview
Mead Medical was established in 1956 operating GP clinics serving the Perth Hills and surrounding communities. With deep roots in the local area, we are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare that evolves with the needs of our community.
Our flagship practice in Kalamunda is a purpose-built medical centre completed in 2013 and located adjacent to Kalamunda District Community Hospital. The centre offers modern, well-equipped facilities including multiple consulting rooms, a spacious nursing and treatment area, and dedicated procedure rooms to support a broad range of clinical services.
Our second practice is located at Maida Vale, at the foot of the hills, providing accessible care to a growing residential catchment. This site continues the tradition of a trusted family medical practice while benefiting from the systems, governance, and clinical standards of the wider Mead Medical Group.
Mead Medical is governed by an experienced group of GP Directors who actively work within the business and are supported by an executive management team, including a Practice Manager and Finance Manager, alongside a skilled and dedicated administrative and nursing team.
Clinical services are delivered by a large team of independent medical practitioners with diverse experience and special interests. These include, but are not limited to, aged care, chronic disease management, women’s health, skin cancer medicine, procedural care, and mental health.
In addition to comprehensive general practice services, Mead Medical supports on-site specialist and extended services, including dedicated skin clinics, visiting specialists, and allied health providers operating from our specialist rooms. This integrated model allows patients to access a wide range of care within a familiar and trusted environment.

Dr Rebecca Hunt-Davies (Mead Medical GP and owner until Dec 2024) was the proud recipient of the RACGP WA Supervisor of the Year 2021. Dr Hunt-Davies has been an integral part of delivery a high quality Registrar training program that helps to shape the future of our General Practitioners.
