Dr Thomas Weaver

Dr Thomas Weaver is a General Practitioner Registrar with a strong foundation in hospital-based medicine and a holistic, patient-centred approach to care. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame Australia and has spent the past four years working within tertiary hospitals across Perth, including Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital.

During this time, Dr Weaver gained broad clinical experience across surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine and general medicine, progressing from internship to registrar roles and receiving multiple nominations for Junior Medical Officer of the Year. This diverse training has equipped him with confidence in managing both acute presentations and complex, chronic conditions.

Prior to becoming a doctor, Dr Weaver worked in healthcare as a respiratory and sleep scientist, giving him a strong background in respiratory medicine, sleep disorders and chronic disease management. This experience continues to inform his thorough, evidence-based approach in general practice.
Dr Weaver has a special interest in chronic disease management, preventative health and family medicine. He values shared decision-making and works closely with patients to develop practical, individualised care plans that support long-term health and wellbeing.

Outside of medicine, Dr Weaver enjoys running, swimming and cycling, and can often be found walking his dog along the coast. He brings the same balance, discipline and commitment from his active lifestyle into his medical practice.
