Dr Monica Rosca is an experienced General Practitioner who provides dedicated urgent-care support to the Mead Medical community, working Sundays and public holidays to ensure patients have access to timely medical attention when they need it most. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

After completing her medical training in Romania, Dr Rosca relocated to Australia in 2008, where she gained extensive hospital experience at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Swan Districts Hospital. Her work across these major tertiary and regional centres provided her with a strong clinical foundation spanning emergency medicine, general medicine, women’s health, paediatrics, and acute care.

Dr Rosca went on to complete her General Practice training locally and later practised in rural Western Australia—including Moora, Northam, and Bindoon—where she developed a deep appreciation for community-focused care and the unique health needs faced by regional patients.

Now living locally with her family, Dr Rosca is a mother and a valued member of the Mead Medical team, known for her warm, approachable nature and her commitment to providing safe, efficient, and compassionate care during periods of high demand and limited service availability.

Her clinical interests include:

  • Acute and urgent medical presentations
  • Family and general medicine
  • Chronic disease management
  • Women’s health
  • Preventative care

Dr Rosca’s presence on Sundays and public holidays ensures continuity of care for patients, offering an accessible and supportive environment for those requiring urgent assessment outside usual clinic hours.
