Dr Eric Cho

Dr Eric Cho is a compassionate and well-rounded General Practitioner who provides comprehensive care across urgent presentations, acute medical conditions, and general practice medicine. Originally from South Korea, Dr Cho relocated to New Zealand in 2002, where he completed his medical training at the University of Otago in Christchurch.

Following graduation, Dr Cho worked across a wide range of hospitals throughout New Zealand, gaining broad clinical experience in acute care, general medicine, and community-based health services. This diverse hospital exposure has equipped him with strong clinical judgement and adaptability across a variety of medical presentations.

Dr Cho is particularly interested in continuing to develop his skills in women’s health and dermatology, and he values ongoing learning and professional development to support high-quality, patient-centred care.

Now, making Perth his long-term home, Dr Cho is pleased to be joining the Mead Medical team and contributing to the local community. He is known for his calm, thoughtful approach and his ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Dr Cho enjoys travelling with his family, playing board games, spending time with dogs, and seeking out a great cup of coffee.
