Dr Annie Naveed

Dr Annie Naveed completed her Bachelor of Medicine in 2004 and went on to undertake extensive hospital and specialty training across the UK. She achieved Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2017 following broad rotations in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Emergency Medicine.

In 2018, Dr Naveed relocated to Perth and quickly felt at home working in the Perth Hills community. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) the same year and has been practising in the area ever since.

Dr Naveed has a strong special interest in women’s sexual and reproductive health, including:

• Contraception counselling
• Implanon and intrauterine device (Mirena® and Kyleena®) insertion and removal
• Antenatal and postnatal care
• Menopause management
• Cervical screening and preventative women’s health

Alongside her women’s health expertise, she also enjoys the full breadth of general practice, particularly:

• Paediatrics
• Chronic disease management
• Dermatology and skin lesion procedures
• Ear, nose and throat conditions
• Musculoskeletal concerns

Her emergency medicine background gives her confidence and capability in managing acute presentations and walk-ins, ensuring patients receive timely and comprehensive care.

Dr Naveed’s approach to medicine is deeply holistic. She has a special interest in mental health and is known for her empathetic communication style, strong listening skills, and ability to see each patient as a whole person—not just a collection of symptoms. This mindset helps patients feel comfortable, heard and supported throughout their healthcare.
