Desensitisation Injections

Mead Medical provides desensitisation injections (allergen immunotherapy) for patients with persistent allergic conditions, delivered in a safe, closely monitored clinical environment.

Desensitisation injections work by gradually exposing the immune system to increasing amounts of a specific allergen, helping to reduce sensitivity over time. This treatment may be recommended for conditions such as allergic rhinitis (hay fever), insect sting allergies, and other allergy-related conditions where symptoms are severe or not well controlled with standard medications.

Injections are administered by trained clinical staff in accordance with specialist recommendations, with appropriate observation periods following each dose to ensure patient safety. Care is delivered in line with established clinical protocols.
