Dr Naveed Akram

Dr Naveed Akram is an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families across all stages of life. With a strong background in hospital and community medicine, Dr Akram brings a breadth of clinical experience and a calm, thoughtful approach to every consultation.

Dr Akram completed his medical degree overseas and went on to undertake extensive training across multiple specialties before transitioning into general practice. His hospital experience includes rotations in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Surgical disciplines, giving him a well-rounded clinical foundation that continues to inform his work today.

Since moving to Australia, Dr Akram has become a valued member of the Mead Medical team, known for his thoroughness, approachability, and commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. He enjoys the wide scope of general practice and is passionate about building long-term, trusting relationships with his patients.
