Dr Julia Lockett

Dr Julia Lockett is a highly respected General Practitioner who has been part of the Mead Medical team since 2014. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Western Australia in 2008, followed by several formative years working at Royal Perth Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital.

During this early part of her career, Dr Lockett gained broad experience across Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, General Medicine, and Women’s Health. However, it was in General Practice that she found her true calling, drawn to the continuity of care, the variety of presentations, and the privilege of supporting patients through every stage of life.

Since joining Mead Medical, Dr Lockett has developed a strong reputation for her warm, approachable manner and her dedication to family-centred care. Growing up in the Perth Hills herself, she feels deeply connected to the local community and values the opportunity to care for the people and families who make this area so special.
