Dr Greg Caddy
Dr Greg Caddy is a highly respected and long-standing member of the Mead Medical team, bringing decades of experience and a deep commitment to community-focused healthcare. He joined Mead in 2006 after many years running his own solo practice in Lesmurdie, and has remained a trusted and much-loved GP within the Perth Hills ever since.
With a career grounded in comprehensive, whole-of-life family medicine, Dr Caddy continues to practise the full spectrum of general practice, providing care that is thorough, personal, and tailored to the needs of each individual and family.
Dr Caddy maintains an active and ongoing interest in obstetric care, and is a founder of the Hills Obstetric Group—an initiative that has supported countless women and families throughout their pregnancy and birthing journey. His passion for maternity care continues today, reflected in his ongoing involvement in antenatal and perinatal services.
Alongside his obstetric work, he remains a key contributor to palliative care, participating in the local palliative care roster and providing compassionate, patient-centred support for individuals and families during some of life’s most difficult stages.
Dr Caddy exemplifies the traditional, all-round General Practitioner—knowledgeable, approachable, dedicated, and deeply invested in the wellbeing of the community he serves.
In recognition of his outstanding commitment to teaching and mentoring the next generation of GPs, Dr Caddy was awarded the RACGP Western Australia GP Supervisor of the Year in 2024, a testament to his skill, generosity, and leadership in medical education.
