Second vaccine will be 3 weeks post your first dose and appointments will be made automatically for you on attendance of your 1st.

ALL BOOKED FLU OR COVID IMMUNISATION APPOINTMENTS WILL CONTINUE DURING ANY LOCKDOWN PHASES ANNOUNCED.

Any patient with cold or flu symptoms may be sent for COVID testing.

Mead Medical observes any restrictions put in place by Government or Health Department Officials, where MASKS are mandated, please ensure you follow this instruction whilst onsite. If you have a mask exemption you will only be able to access telehealth consultations during restriction periods.

Please note that for some months we have been absolutely overwhelmed with phone calls, this has resulted in extensive wait times. You can book appointments online via HOTDOC or our website.

If you have a NON urgent queries you are able to email them to admin@meadmedical.com.au. Please note this will not be in place of a consultation with your GP.

CALLS WILL HAVE LONG WAITS.

All appointments booked during a lockdown period will automatically be reverted to Telehealth consultation. If you feel a face to face is required, please call our practice for further advice on 9293 4455. Once triaged by GP, you will still be able to attend onsite, however no visitors or family members can accompany. Masks will be mandatory and you will be triaged prior to being allowed in the clinic. Upon check-in, staff will ask you to wait in your car until GP calls and clears you for entry.

These appointments are for the purpose of URGENT CARE only any complex issues will need to be booked with your regular GP during the week. The following WILL NOT BE ALLOWED as part of our URGENT CARE service:

> Mental Health Care Plans
> Health assessments & Medicals
> Paperwork (applications) & Centrelink completion
> Procedures except emergencies
> Authority Scripts and Scripts for Drugs of Dependency

Please note that the following hours will now be privately billed in line with our fee schedule

> Saturdays from 1pm onwards
> All day Sundays & Public Holidays

Bulk billing is only available for all children 15 and under

Phones are manned by minimal staff on weekends, this may result in delays to your call.

You are able to book an appointment online via HOTDOC.  Urgent appointment slots open up each day from 8am, you will need to book online early to access these as they go very quickly.

If you have complex queries please contact our practice Mondays to Fridays or email us on admin@meadmedical.com.au. Emails will not be monitored on weekends.

Non booked attendances will be triaged and seen in line with urgency & arrival time.

Mead Medical Kalamunda has a purpose built medical centre (completed in 2013), located adjacent to Kalamunda District Community Hospital. The medical centre provides state of the art facilities for our patients. As well as the traditional consulting rooms, we have incorporated a large nursing bay and 3 new procedure rooms.

Mead Medical Group Forrestfield is a well-established practice operating since 1974, it is a private billing practice located in the Hills area, approximately 30 minutes drive from the Perth CBD. We are located in close proximity to the Forrestfield Forum shopping centre on Salix Way.
